Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise is set to appear as a guest on BTS member Jin’s YouTube variety show “Run Jin”!

On May 12, multiple media outlets reported that Cruise had recently filmed an episode of “Run Jin” during his latest visit to South Korea. The series, which showcases Jin’s charismatic and humorous personality through a variety of fun and often unpredictable segments, is released weekly on BTS’s official YouTube channel.
Following the report, a representative from HYBE confirmed the news, stating, “Tom Cruise recently participated in a filming for Jin’s web variety show ‘Run Jin.’ The episode will be revealed at a later date.” A representative from the “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” production team also echoed this statement, noting that the footage featuring Cruise would be released soon as part of the film’s official promotional activities.
This marks the first-ever meeting between Jin, one of K-pop’s most beloved idols, and Tom Cruise, one of Hollywood’s most iconic action stars. The meeting was reportedly full of laughter and mutual admiration, with Cruise and Jin engaging in entertaining missions and friendly banter in line with the show’s lighthearted format.
Cruise arrived in South Korea on May 7 to kick off his promotions for the final installment of the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, which is titled “The Final Reckoning.” His appearance on “Run Jin” was carefully coordinated to align with this visit and has already generated enormous buzz among fans of both stars.
