On May 9, their agency Brave Entertainment officially announced that Heechan and Harry June will be halting all group activities starting May 10 due to “personal circumstances.” While the agency did not elaborate on the nature of these circumstances, they emphasized that the decision was made after careful consideration and discussions with the members involved.
As a result of their temporary hiatus, DKB will continue their scheduled promotions as a five-member group until further notice. The agency asked fans for their understanding and support during this time, reassuring that Heechan and Harry June’s return will be announced once the timing is appropriate and their circumstances allow.
“Due to personal circumstances, starting on May 10, Heechan and Harry June will temporarily not be participating in group activities,” the statement read. “Accordingly, for a certain period of time, DKB will be continuing their activities as a five-member group.”
“We deeply apologize for giving the fans cause for concern with this sudden news, and we will make another announcement with information regarding the two members’ return at a later date,” it continued.
“We ask that you continue to give DKB and the members your warm support and continued interest in the future as well,” the statement concluded.
Fans have expressed both concern and support for the two members, hoping that they are able to rest and resolve any issues during their time away. Both Heechan and Harry June have been active since DKB’s debut in 2020 and have contributed significantly to the group’s performances and music.
