DRIPPIN Members Lee Hyeop and Kim Donghyun Go on Temporary Hiatus
On May 12, Woollim Entertainment released an official statement confirming that the two members would not be participating in upcoming team promotions for the time being.
“We would like to inform you regarding the schedule of DRIPPIN members, LEE HYEOP and KIM DONGYUN,” the statement read.
“Due to personal schedules, LEE HYEOP and KIM DONGYUN will not be participating in DRIPPIN’s group activities for the time being,” it continued. “We sincerely apologize for the sudden announcement and any concern this may cause to fans. We kindly ask for your generous understanding.”

The announcement comes just two months after DRIPPIN’s leader, Hwang Yunseong, was confirmed to begin his mandatory military service. On March 5, Woollim Entertainment also shared that Yunseong would enlist as an active-duty soldier on March 24.
“As the recruit training center entrance ceremony is an occasion attended by numerous service members and their families, no official event will be held to prevent congestion and ensure safety at the site. Therefore, we kindly request that fans refrain from visiting the location,” the statement read.
“We sincerely ask for your warm encouragement and support for Hwang Yunseong as he faithfully fulfills his military duty and returns in good health,” it added.
With Yunseong currently serving in the military and now Hyeop and Dongyun on hiatus, the group will also continue activities with a reduced lineup.
Fans have also expressed concern and support for the members, hoping that this time will allow them to recharge and explore personal opportunities. Woollim Entertainment has also assured fans that updates will be provided in the future regarding the members’ return and the group’s plans moving forward.
For now, DRIPPIN will also continue promotions with the remaining active members.
