EPEX Member Keum Goes on Temporary Hiatus
On May 16, C9 Entertainment released an official statement announcing that the EPEX member will be going on a hiatus due to personal reasons. While the agency did not elaborate on the specifics, they emphasized that the decision was made after careful discussion and consideration of the artist’s current circumstances.
As a result, EPEX will continue with their scheduled activities as a seven-member group until Keum is ready to return. The agency added that they will provide updates regarding Keum’s future activities once the timing for his return has been determined.
“Due to KEUM’s personal reasons, his activities will be suspended until related matters are settled,” the statement read. “EPEX will be promoting as a 7-member group starting today.”
“We kindly ask for the understanding of all fans,” it added.
Interestingly, there are also speculations about the member’s temporary hiatus. Several reports suggest that Keum, like most boy group members who have previously announced their hiatus, will be joining the upcoming survival show “BOYS II PLANET”. Keum had previously took part in “Produce X 101” before debuting as a member of EPEX.
