Kai Discusses ‘Wait On Me’, Upcoming ‘KAION’ Tour, and What He Learned as a Social Service Worker

The EXO member recently participated in a captivating photo shoot for the June issue of Elle Korea, in collaboration with Versace’s latest fragrance, Eros Energy.

Known for his striking visuals and magnetic presence, Kai effortlessly embodied the bold and sensual essence of the scent. Following the shoot, he also sat down for an in-depth interview where he opened up about his recent activities and future plans.

Having successfully wrapped up promotions for his 4th mini album ‘Wait On Me’, Kai is now preparing for his highly anticipated first solo concert tour ‘KAION’. He also shared that his passion for performing and the love he receives from fans continue to drive his creativity and ambition.

“Since this is my first activity after being discharged [from mandatory military service], I feel like my energy to work has been fully recharged,” Kai said. “I want to let fans who haven’t seen me in two years know that we’ll be meeting more often now. I’m physically tired, but mentally I’m incredibly happy and feel very fulfilled because I’m confident that I’m doing the best I can right now.”

Reflecting on his time serving as a social service worker, Kai also revealed he gained meaningful insights and a renewed perspective on life.

“I learned a lot through my experience as a social service worker,” he said. “My attitude toward people hasn’t changed, but I think that because I talk more about relatable, everyday experiences, many people are finding me more approachable.
