WARNING: Contains PTSD symptoms

FIFTY FIFTY’s agency ATTRAKT has officially confirmed that member Keena is taking a break from all activities due to health concerns, specifically symptoms related to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD.

Is FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena Suffering from PTSD?

On May 9, it was reported that Keena, who had recently gone on hiatus, is suffering from PTSD, stemming from the ongoing legal battle involving former The Givers CEO An Sung Il. Keena filed a complaint against An Sung Il in August 2023, accusing him of forging private documents and misrepresenting her copyright share for the global hit “Cupid.” According to reports, only 0.5 percent of the song’s copyright was credited to her—despite her contributions—due to an alleged forged signature.

On April 15, at her own request, Keena participated in a face-to-face interrogation with An Sung Il at the Gangnam Police Station. The session lasted two hours and was conducted with her legal representation present. Following this intense confrontation, Keena reportedly suffered a significant mental breakdown, showing severe PTSD symptoms such as vomiting, auditory hallucinations, insomnia, and extreme loss of appetite.

ATTRAKT Speaks Up For Keena

In response to these developments, ATTRAKT released a statement confirming the situation: “Keena recently underwent a face-to-face interrogation with An Sung Il. Afterward, she reported experiencing both mental and physical distress and showed symptoms of PTSD. We have decided to temporarily halt her activities in order to prioritize the artist’s health and well-being.”

Keena’s hiatus comes just days after FIFTY FIFTY’s much-anticipated comeback on April 29 with their third mini album ‘Day and Night’. During the first week of promotions, ATTRAKT initially announced Keena’s absence due to health issues, and she has since not participated in any scheduled appearances or performances.

Fans continue to express concern and support for Keena, hoping for her full recovery and return when she is ready.
