tvN’s highly anticipated new drama “Our Unwritten Seoul” has officially offered fans their first glimpse of Park Jinyoung in his new role! The series has just dropped the first glimpse at the GOT7 member as he takes on the role of a talented attorney!
Jinyoung Plays Smart Attorney in ‘Our Unwritten Seoul’ Stills
“Our Unwritten Seoul” is a heartwarming romantic drama centered around twin sisters who live vastly different lives. Through an unexpected series of events, the sisters end up swapping identities, setting off a chain reaction of secrets, lies, and self-discovery. As they navigate their new realities, they slowly come to understand the true meaning of love, family, and living authentically.
In the drama, Jinyoung takes on the role of Lee Ho Su, a brilliant attorney at a top-tier law firm. With his striking good looks, sharp intellect, and genuine kindness, Ho Su also appears to have the perfect life. He is thoughtful and respectful, always choosing his words carefully and treating everyone around him with warmth. However, behind his polished image, Ho Su wrestles with his own hidden scars and dreams of living a quiet, normal life away from the pressures of perfection.
Speaking about what attracted him to the drama, Jinyoung shared, “As I read the script, I was touched by how the characters tried to live while carrying deep emotional wounds. It felt very real to me.” He continued, “I became deeply curious about how I could portray a character like Ho Su, and that curiosity led me to choose this project.”
Describing his character further, Jinyoung explained, “Ho Su feels like he’s stuck in a second adolescence, trying to fully mature into adulthood. He hides his pain instead of burdening others with it, and that quiet sincerity makes him such a moving character.”
Jinyoung also revealed his approach to portraying Ho Su, saying, “Even though Ho Su has a lot of dialogue, I wanted to emphasize his reserved nature by speaking slowly and steadily.”
“Our Unwritten Seoul” premieres on May 24 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
