The late Kim Sae Ron‘s family conference has revealed some new information that possibly connects Kim Soo Hyun to the “Bloodhounds” star’s death.
Kim Sae Ron Family Press Conference Unveils New Whistleblower Recording
On May 7, a press conference was held by the family of the late actress Kim Sae Ron to share new developments concerning her allegations involving actor Kim Soo Hyun. The event included legal representative Bu Ji Seok and HoverLab Inc. CEO Kim Se Eui, who addressed the press and released a portion of a recording made shortly before Kim Sae Ron’s passing.
According to Bu Ji Seok, Kim Sae Ron spoke to a whistleblower based in New Jersey one month before her death. During the approximately 90-minute conversation, which was fully recorded with Kim Sae Ron’s consent, she made serious claims, including details about her past relationship with Kim Soo Hyun and allegations involving his agency, GOLDMEDALIST.
Shockingly, the whistleblower in question was reportedly the victim of a violent stabbing incident on April 30 in the United States. The attack involved two individuals—one Korean and one Chinese—who stabbed the whistleblower in the neck nine times. This alarming act raised concerns about potential retaliation or efforts to silence the whistleblower.
At the conference, the family released a segment of the recording dated January 10, 2025, when Kim Sae Ron met the whistleblower at a coffee shop in New Jersey. In the audio, Kim Sae Ron states, “I dated Soo Hyun oppa. You might say I’m crazy and not believe me, but I dated him since I was in middle school, and we broke up after I went to college.” She continues, “Soo Hyun oppa and those GOLDMEDALIST people are really scary and will do anything.”
GOLDMEDALIST Hits Back
Following the press conference, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency GOLDMEDALIST swiftly issued an official statement, likely to deny the allegations and announce legal action in response to the claims made public by Kim Sae Ron’s family.
“The audio file provider is someone who could not possibly have had any contact with the late Kim Sae Ron,” the statement read. “When their attempt to defraud GOLDMEDALIST failed, they colluded with HoverLab to release the fabricated audio file.”
The situation continues to attract significant public attention as both sides prepare for a potential legal battle.
