Wendy has officially found a new home for her solo activities! The Red Velvet member has signed an exclusive contract with ASND!
Red Velvet Member Wendy Officially Signs with ASND
On April 25, the newly launched entertainment agency ASND announced that Wendy has signed an exclusive contract with them. To celebrate the news, ASND shared a special video clip and a series of stunning new profile photos of Wendy, capturing her bright and sophisticated charm.
A representative from ASND expressed their excitement, stating, “Wendy signed an exclusive contract with ASND. We are happy to work with an artist who has proven her exceptional capabilities in various fields.” They added, “We plan on actively supporting Wendy’s activities with Red Velvet while also maximizing her individual career. We will do our best to help Wendy, who has trusted us, shine even brighter in the future.”

Earlier this month, both Wendy and fellow Red Velvet member Yeri parted ways with their longtime agency, SM Entertainment, following the expiration of their exclusive contracts. However, SM Entertainment reassured fans by confirming that Wendy and Yeri will continue to be part of Red Velvet’s group activities, keeping the group’s future intact. Meanwhile, it was reported that Yeri is currently in discussions to sign with Blitzway Studios, home to many notable actors.
Wendy has earned widespread acclaim for her powerful vocals, heartfelt performances, and versatile talents across singing, hosting, and musical theater. Fans are excited to see what new solo ventures and projects await her under ASND’s management.
Here’s wishing Wendy all the best as she embarks on this exciting new chapter of her career!
ASND on a Roll
Prior to signing Wendy, the agency made news in early April after 5 members of fromis_9 signed exclusive contracts with ASND. It was also reported that the girl group is currently preparing for their first comeback as a five member group in June.
This would mark the first release under the group’s new agency and their first official group activity since five of the original members—Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Nagyung, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon—transitioned to the new label.
