WINNER is finally returning to the stage with their first concert in over three years and three months! However, the upcoming WINNER concert will NOT feature member Song Mino.

Song Mino Will NOT Participate in WINNER Concert in July

On May 7, YG Entertainment officially announced that the beloved boy group will be holding a concert, thrilling fans who have long awaited their return. The upcoming concert marks WINNER’s first group performance since their last concert in early 2021, making it a highly anticipated event for Inner Circle, the group’s fandom.

However, the agency also clarified that member Song Mino will not be participating. YG Entertainment explained that Mino, who is currently under investigation for a possible violation of the Military Service Act, will be sitting out of the concert to focus on the ongoing legal process. The remaining members—Kang Seung Yoon, Kim Jin Woo, and Lee Seung Hoon—will go forward with preparations and deliver a memorable show for fans.

“However, it is true that we had many concerns regarding whether or not to proceed with this concert,” the statement read. “Nevertheless, in consideration of fans who have waited so long for WINNER’s return, and reflecting the strong desire of the members to meet their fans, we have decided to go ahead with the concert as planned.

“This concert will feature three members—Kang Seung Yoon, Kim Jin Woo, and Lee Seung Hoon—on stage together. As this was not an easy decision, we kindly ask for your warm support and encouragement. Further details about the concert will be announced in a separate notice at a later date. Thank you,” it concluded.

Last year, the Seoul Mapo Police confirmed that they had officially booked Song Mino on December 23 for suspected violations of the Military Service Act. The investigation was also initiated following a request from the Military Manpower Administration (MMA), which conducted an internal review and determined that certain aspects of his service required further scrutiny.
