Hanni Confirms Parliamentary Audit Attendance
NewJeans’ Hanni has made the courageous decision to attend a session hosted by the National Assembly Environment and Labor Committee, following reports that she had been invited as part of an audit related to workplace issues.
On September 30, 2024, the committee passed a resolution requesting the attendance of Hanni and HYBE’s Ju Young Kim, after Hanni had previously made claims regarding workplace bullying. Although her attendance was not mandatory, Hanni chose to face the situation head-on and participate in the session.
On October 9, Hanni took to social media to inform her fans about her decision, writing, “I’ve made my decision. I’m going to the National Assembly for the audit.” She further reassured her fans by stating that she would be attending alone, showing her determination to handle the situation herself.
Addressing the concerns of her devoted supporters, she expressed confidence and composure, saying, “You don’t need to worry. I’m doing this for myself, the members, and for Bunnies (NewJeans’ fans).” Hanni’s message of assurance continued with, “I decided to go for Bunnies. There’s nothing difficult!! I want to go!!”
Hanni’s decision has garnered attention for her bravery and maturity in dealing with such a significant matter. The session is set to take place on October 25, 2024, when the committee is expected to question her regarding her claims of workplace bullying. In response to Hanni’s announcement, ADOR, her agency, gave a brief statement acknowledging her decision.
“We will check and contact you after,” the agency said.
Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on the situation, and Hanni’s commitment to standing up for herself and others has only strengthened the bond between her and the fans. Stay tuned for developments on this story.
