TWS Covers NCT Dream, SHINee, Psy, and Crush on Weekly Idol

The up-and-coming boy group from PLEDIS Entertainment made a guest appearance on the June 26 episode of the popular MBC every 1 variety show. During their visit, they performed their latest title track “If I’m S, Can You Be My N?” and engaged in lively games with the show’s new hosts.

 

In a special segment towards the end of the episode, TWS members divided into two teams of three for an entertaining karaoke battle. Each team took turns performing different songs while tackling randomly assigned missions.

During the first round, prompted by the MCs, the idols infused “Michael Jackson-esque” sounds and ad libs into their performances. Youngjae, Dohoon, and Shinyu impressed with their rendition of Crush’s “Rush Hour,” while Jihoon, Hanjin, and Kyungmin captivated the audience with their take on SHINee’s classic track “Love Like Oxygen.”

The first character features Security Bureau Administrator Jung Won (played by Lee Sun Gyun) and his teenage daughter Kyung Min (Kim Soo Ahn). They find themselves trapped on an airport bridge about to collapse, cautiously maneuvering to evade an unseen threat. The urgency of their situation heightens as they rush to the airport for Kyung Min’s departure abroad, only to face a series of unforeseen disasters. This sparks curiosity about their chances of surviving what could be the worst disaster in history.

Tow truck driver Jo Bak, portrayed by Ju Ji Hoon, is introduced as he seizes a life-changing opportunity amidst the chaos. Learning of multiple collision accidents, he rushes to the airport bridge, his tense demeanor reflecting the unsettling atmosphere. Dr. Yang (Kim Hee Won), the senior researcher behind the secretive “Project Silence,” denies any intention of causing such outcomes, intensifying the tension as the military experimental dogs recognize all survivors as targets.

Professional golfer Yu Ra (Park Ju Hyun), struggling with a slump, is managed by her older sister Mi Ran (Park Hee Bon). EXO-CBX Members Sue SM Entertainment Executives Over Broken Promises

EXO-CBX and their agency, INB100, have escalated their legal battle against SM Entertainment executives by filing a counter-lawsuit alleging fraud amidst a contentious dispute over financial agreements. This conflict began when Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, members of the popular sub-unit EXO-CBX, departed from SM Entertainment last year, triggering a series of negotiations and legal actions.

In response, SM Entertainment refuted these allegations, asserting that the EXO members continue to benefit from the group’s brand and legacy. On June 12, SM Entertainment retaliated by filing a lawsuit against Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, contesting the terms of their departure and subsequent financial arrangements.

Amidst the legal back-and-forth, EXO-CBX issued a statement on June 14, addressing the dispute and revealing efforts to propose an alternative agreement concerning payment for the use of SM Entertainment’s music, assets, and brand. In their statement, EXO-CBX and INB100 vowed to cooperate fully with authorities, pledging to disclose all relevant details, including last year’s negotiations, to substantiate their claims. They also indicated their intent to challenge SM Entertainment’s profit distribution practices in court, asserting that the agency’s financial system is flawed. Recently, Chen has released his solo, “Empty,” which serves as his first comeback song under a new label. Reflecting on her role, Tiffany said, “Appearing in ‘Uncle Samsik’ still feels unreal and like a dream. Although this is my second project after ‘Reborn Rich,’ I still can’t quite believe it.
