Eat and Drink the Jeon Jungkook Way With These Recipes

BTS‘s Jungkook has been making waves not only in the music industry but also in the culinary world. Recently, he tweaked his viral Buldak Mayo Perilla Oil Makguksu recipe, a yummy buckwheat noodle dish he introduced in April. The original recipe quickly went viral, with fans across the globe cooking it and posting their reviews. However, Jungkook‘s culinary journey didn’t stop there; he made some tweaks to the recipe, making it even more delicious.

The new version of the makguksu recipe doesn’t differ significantly from the original, but Jungkook believes that the latest one has a tastier edge. He decreased the quantity of perilla oil and added dark soy sauce, ground pepper, and fried sesame seeds. The ingredients for Jungkook‘s new Buldak Mayo Perilla Oil Makguksu include three tablespoons of perilla oil, two tablespoons of Cham sauce, one tablespoon of dark soy sauce, one tablespoon of Buldak sauce, one tablespoon of Buldak mayo sauce, one egg yolk, a little bit of ground pepper, and finally, some fried sesame seeds to give the dish a nutty taste.

Jungkook‘s creativity doesn’t stop at the ingredients he uses. He also encourages fans to add what they like to the recipe, such as onions, garlic, or red chili flakes. However, he emphasizes that some seasoned laver, also known as seaweed, is a must as a garnish. He even shared a tip for the best way to enjoy the dish, stating that the noodles should be as cold as possible while eating.

But Jungkook‘s culinary talents extend beyond traditional Korean dishes. He also shared the secret to his signature highball cocktail during his appearance on SUGA’s Suchwita. He begins by chilling a glass by stirring ice in it. Then, he adds a shot or more of whisky, according to preference. The rest of the glass is filled with sparkling water, followed by a squeeze of lemon into the drink. The lemon can also be placed on top as a garnish. Finally, all the ingredients are mixed together to produce the perfect blend.

Jungkook‘s obvious love for food and drink added yet another layer to his multifaceted personality. His willingness to share these recipes with ARMY reflects his down-to-earth nature and connection with his audience. As fans eagerly await his mini album set to release in November, they can enjoy these delightful recipes and experience a taste of his world. Whether it’s that revamped makguksu or his own highball cocktail, Jungkook‘s culinary creations offer insight into his creativity and love for food and drink. – K-Pop News Writer
