On September 6 at midnight KST, the two JYJ members revealed a mysterious teaser on a newly launched social media account under the name “JX”—an abbreviation of Jae Joong and XIA (Junsu’s stage name).

The teaser included visually captivating images, featuring the profile faces of both artists against a dark backdrop, with the word “IDENTITY” prominently displayed. Alongside the images, a trailer was released, showcasing serene nature scenes and a voice-over narration by both Jae Joong and Junsu. The narration highlighted the duo’s enduring friendship and unwavering support for each other throughout their careers, despite facing various challenges. The teaser also ends with a hint of their journey entering a new phase, leaving fans eager to discover what their next collaboration will bring.

JYJ Through All The Years

As members of JYJ, which also includes Park Yoo-chun, Kim Jae Joong and Kim Junsu are no strangers to overcoming difficulties, particularly after their departure from TVXQ and the legal battles that followed. The group, named after the initials of their names, has since moved on from their former agency, C-JeS Entertainment. Jae Joong has since founded his own agency, iNKODE, while Junsu now runs PALMTREE ISLAND.
