On June 26, SEVENTEEN was honored as the first-ever Goodwill Ambassador for Youth by UNESCO at their Paris headquarters. This historic recognition, presented by UNESCO’s Director-General Audrey Azoulay, emphasized SEVENTEEN’s role in promoting global youth engagement and cultural exchange. During the ceremony, Joshua delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of the group, highlighting their commitment to inspiring positive change through their GoingTogether campaign. Additionally, SEVENTEEN announced a generous $1 million donation to UNESCO’s Global Youth Grand Scheme, supporting initiatives that foster positive youth communities worldwide.
