On October 6, Minhyuk held the ‘2024 MINHYUK Fan Event’ at the YES24 Live Hall in Seoul, with two sessions at 1 PM and 5 PM. This marked his first official offline appearance after completing his military service on October 3, making it a special occasion for both him and his fans.

The event had no designated MC, allowing Minhyuk to take charge of the entire program and connect directly with his fans on a more personal level. He made a surprise entrance from the back of the venue, holding a bouquet of flowers as he made his way to the stage. Once there, he formally announced his discharge, officially marking his return. The theme of the event, ‘Let’s Go! Whale,’ held personal significance for Minhyuk, and he took time to explain the meaning behind it and the symbolic “flower shoes” that he unveiled during the event.

In the ‘Let’s Go! Whale’ segment, Minhyuk shared stories from his military service, focusing on his time with the military band and his involvement in creating cheering videos for the Paris Olympics. He encouraged fans to share their thoughts and experiences, fostering an engaging and interactive atmosphere. Additionally, he shared personal photos from his discharge, giving fans a glimpse into his post-military life. One of the highlights of the event was Minhyuk’s special saxophone performance, a treat that showcased his musical talents and left a lasting impression on the audience.

Minhyuk’s affection for his fans was evident throughout the event. After the show, he personally saw off each fan, handing out photocards and messages as they left, further deepening the bond between him and his supporters.

Now that he has completed his military service, fans eagerly await Minhyuk’s next activities, excited for what lies ahead in his career.
