AMPERSANDONE Confirms October Comeback with ‘ONE QUESTION’ Scheduler

AMPERS&ONE is gearing up to release their highly anticipated first mini album! The idol group has dropped the ‘ONE QUESTION’ scheduler ahead of their October comeback.

On October 7 at midnight KST, the rookie boy group from FNC Entertainment officially announced their upcoming comeback. The group will be releasing their first mini album titled ‘ONE QUESTION’ on October 22 at 6 p.m. KST. To celebrate the release, AMPERS&ONE will be holding an online comeback live event that same day, where they are expected to interact with fans and showcase their new music.

As AMPERS&ONE continues to build momentum in the K-pop scene, ‘ONE QUESTION’ marks a major milestone for the group as their first mini album, promising fresh tracks that will highlight their growth and talent.

The Dating Rumor

In related news, dating rumors recently surfaced involving AMPERS&ONE’s Na Kamden and H1-KEY’s Hwiseo. On May 6, Hwiseo personally addressed the speculation after a live broadcast from AMPERS&ONE, filmed in their hotel room in Japan, briefly captured her voice. During the broadcast, one of the AMPERS&ONE members also referred to her by her given name, Hwihyeon.

Hwiseo also quickly clarified the situation, explaining that both H1-KEY and AMPERS&ONE had been in Japan for the same “Idol Radio” event. She stated that she had also coincidentally been staying in a hotel room across from the AMPERS&ONE members and had simply greeted them in the hallway. As a former trainee at FNC Entertainment, Hwiseo also emphasized that there was nothing more to the situation, effectively denying the rumors.

With the dating rumor cleared up, Na Kamden and the rest of AMPERS&ONE are also ready to take on their next major step. The first EP ‘ONE QUESTION’ will be released on October 22, 2024.

AMPERS&ONE Announces Comeback With Second Single Album ‘ONE HEART’

AMPERS&ONE—composed of Brian, Jiho, Kamden, Kyrell, Mackiah, Seungmo, and Siyun—will make a comeback with their second single album, ONE HEART. With their debut album AMPERSAND ONE, they told the story of how seven boys from diverse backgrounds came together to form a cohesive unit. In ONE HEART, they’ll delve deeper into the shared goals, emotions, and collective will that binds the group together.

The tracklisting for ONE HEART has already been released. This album includes songs like “Broken Heart,” “Crazy Stupid Fun,” and “Someday.” Each track showcases the group’s talent and versatility. What’s more, their sunbae Lee Seunghyub of the rap rock band N.Flying helped write the lyrics of “Crazy Stupid Fun” and “Someday.”

FNC Entertainment, the agency behind AMPERS&ONE, released two sets of concept photos for the album. It will have two versions. The concept photos of the Heart version are sporty. In the photos, the members are dressed in ice hockey uniforms. This is their way of embodying the album’s concept of passionately pursuing victory while in love. Each member’s assertive pose and unique facial expression added to fans’ excitement for the new songs.

AMPERS&ONE in a completely different light

Meanwhile, the Broken version of the album saw its concept photos unveiled on the group’s social media. The photos present AMPERS&ONE in a completely different light. While they exude a confident, loving image in the Heart version, this version highlights the members’ anxious and wounded sides. Their facial expressions and eyes hint at everything they went through that left them broken.

AMPERS&ONE is set to release all tracks and the music video for the title track of ONE HEART at 6:00 PM on March 26. By that time, the septet’s second single album will be available on all major streaming services worldwide, ready for fans to enjoy.

This release comes after approximately four months. In that time, the group held a showcase in Japan and worked on content for their YouTube channel. All of that helped them get better at their craft, which bodes well for their upcoming comeback. – K-Pop News Writer

3 Former ‘Boys Planet’ Contestants to Debut in AMPERS&ONE

It’s official: FNC Entertainment has confirmed that they’re set to debut a new boy group called AMPERS&ONE! And it will feature several notable contestants from the Boys Planet series. 

On October 18, FNC Entertainment launched the official social media accounts for AMPERS&ONE. Based on the initial teaser, the group will feature seven members. 

In a press release, the agency explained that the group name is a combination of the word ampersand, also known as the sign that stands for “and” and “one.” Furthermore, it should symbolize the group’s wish to “achieve its dreams by coming together [as a group.]” 

Aside from hinting that the group is set to debut in November, FNC Entertainment has yet to release additional details about it. As of writing, there’s no news yet about the group’s album title or final debut date. 

Who are the AMPERS&ONE members? 

In September, FNC Entertainment first confirmed that former Boys Planet members Na Kamden and Choi Jiho will be part of their new boy group.

Following the launch of the group’s social media accounts, the agency confirmed that Brian will also be part of the septet. While it served a surprise as Brian was affiliated with Yuehua Entertainment during his participation in Boys Planet, fans on social media quickly welcomed the addition. 

Since then, AMPERS&ONE have been teasing the rest of their lineup. Aside from Kamden, Jiho, and Brian, the other members will be Mackiah, Siyun, Kyrell, and Seungmo.

 

Additional details for the other members have yet to be disclosed. Currently, fans are anticipating to see group photos of the septet.

Notably, AMPERS&ONE will be FNC Entertainment’s first boy group since P1HARMONY debuted in 2020. They will join the agency’s roster of rock bands like F.T. Island, CNBLUE, and N.FLYING. As for idol groups, the label is home to AOA, Cherry Bullet, and SF9.
