Stray Kids Postpones Taiwan Concert Due To Typhoon Kong-Rey

It looks like a typhoon has delayed Stray Kids’ performance in Kaohsiung. The boy group has announced that their highly anticipated Taiwan concert has been postponed due to Typhoon Kong-Rey.

Stray Kids’ ‘dominATE’ Taiwan Concert Postponed

Due to the imminent arrival of Typhoon Kong-Rey, Stray Kids has decided to postpone their upcoming “dominATE” concert in Taiwan by one day. Originally set for November 2 in Kaohsiung, the concert will now take place on November 3 at 6 p.m. local time.

“After many discussions and evaluations regarding concerns about stage setup and the safety of our audience, we unfortunately had to make this decision. Please kindly understand that we are currently planning to implement the best measures to ensure the safe travel and performance of the members. Tickets for the original date will remain valid for the rescheduled date,” the statement read.

This precautionary measure ensures the safety of fans, staff, and the members of Stray Kids amidst unpredictable weather conditions caused by the typhoon. Fans have expressed understanding and support, emphasizing their anticipation for the rescheduled date.

Stray Kids in ‘Arcane’ Season 2

In addition to their concert tour, Stray Kids is capturing fans’ attention with their involvement in the soundtrack for “Arcane” Season 2, the highly acclaimed “League of Legends” animated series. Announced on September 13, the band will contribute a track titled “Come Play” to the series, enhancing its unique musical landscape.

Joining Stray Kids on the track are Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko and legendary American guitarist Tom Morello, known for his powerful work with Rage Against the Machine. This collaboration promises to add a compelling, global flair to the soundtrack, blending K-pop with Latin and rock influences.

Stray Kids’ participation in the “Arcane” soundtrack underscores their increasing prominence in global entertainment, connecting with a diverse fan base through both music and gaming culture.
