“Although this will be our first time at Coachella, I believe we can do well and truly enjoy performing at the festival, thanks to our extensive stage experience performing at concerts and other events. We’re currently practicing rearranged versions of our songs, and I can already picture what the performance will look like. I think it’s going to be fun,” Jungwon said.
“I feel like when I look back later on, this performance will be one of the highlights of my life. It’s a stage every singer dreams of standing on, and opportunities like this don’t come often. I want to fully embrace the moment, so I’m working really hard to prepare,” Heesung stated.
According to Ni-ki, “This is our first time [performing] at such a large festival, but I’m more excited than nervous. It’s a precious opportunity to share our music with people who haven’t heard of us yet, so we’re working hard to prepare.”
Meanwhile, Jake said, “The more we tour, the more I feel that our opinions and areas for improvement have been reflected in our performances. The same goes for our set list and performance—it reflects the members’ input.”

On August 24, BELIFT LAB released an official statement announcing that Jay had come down with a sudden fever and was subsequently taken to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with the flu.
The diagnosis has led to concerns over his health and well-being, and despite Jay’s strong desire to participate in the concerts, his medical team has advised him to prioritize rest and recovery. As a result, Jay will be sitting out of ENHYPEN’s “FATE PLUS” concerts scheduled to take place in Aichi on August 24 and 25.
“Jay experienced a sudden fever while carrying out one of his schedules, prompting a visit to the hospital. Following a thorough medical examination, he was diagnosed with the flu,” the statement confirmed.
“Despite the artist’s strong desire to participate in scheduled performances the medical team has advised Jay to rest extensively,” it added. “Regrettably, this means that he cannot perform at the ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR “FATE PLUS” IN JAPAN – Aichi. We ask you for your kind and generous understanding.”
“We will diligently support Jay’s treatment and recovery, ensuring he can return to his fans in good health,” the statement concludes.
The news of Jay’s absence has certainly been a disappointment for both the artist and his fans, especially given the anticipation surrounding the group’s performances in Japan. However, fans have been quick to send their well-wishes to Jay, expressing their hope for a full and speedy recovery.

Rock DnB is a fusion genre that combines elements of rock music with the fast-paced, breakbeat-driven rhythms of drum and bass. While ENHYPEN has been known to experiment with different styles in their music, this marks the first time they’ll try rock DnB.
All seven members contributed to the lyrics of “Highway 1009,” which means lines like “Hold me tighter so I can stand again even on weary days” came right from the members’ hearts. Heeseung also helped compose and produce this one. Finally, the album’s title track, “XO(OnlyIfYouSayYes)” is, of course, a standout. Unlike most of ENHYPEN’s previous title tracks, which are dark and energetic, this one features a sweet melody and impactful lyrics. It’s about a boy who would do absolutely anything for his special someone.
Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki are becoming more and more hands-on with their music as time goes by, which is a sign of how far they’ve come since debuting four years ago via I-LAND.
