EVERGLOW Aisha to Sit Out US and LATAM Tour Due to Health Issues

Aisha is taking time out to focus on her health. The EVERGLOW member will not be participating in the group’s US and LATAM tour this month.

Aisha Sits Out EVERGLOW’s US and LATAM Tour

On September 20, Yuehua Entertainment announced that EVERGLOW’s Aisha would be sitting out the group’s U.S. and Latin America “PULSE & HEART” tour due to health concerns. Medical professionals advised Aisha to take “ample rest,” leading to the decision that she would not participate in the tour.

“Prior to tour rehearsals, Aisha’s physical condition significantly declined and consequentially visited the hospital, where the medical professionals advised that she requires ample rest,” the statement read.Although Aisha has expressed a strong desire to participate in the tour, after extensive internal discussions, we have decided that focusing on her recovery is the top priority.”

“We will do our utmost to support Aisha in her recovery,” it added.

This news came shortly after EVERGLOW made a strong comeback in June with their digital single “Zombie,” following a lengthy hiatus since their previous release in August of 2022. Their fourth single album, ‘ALL MY GIRLS’, featured the hit title track “SLAY,” which secured multiple wins on music shows and further solidified their status as a powerhouse in the K-pop scene.

EVERGLOW’s upcoming tour, which is set to cover eleven stops across the United States and Latin America, began on September 12, 2024. Despite Aisha’s absence, the remaining members are expected to deliver powerful performances, maintaining the group’s momentum and connection with their international fanbase.

Fans expressed concern for Aisha’s health but supported her decision to prioritize recovery. While her absence will be felt during the tour, EVERGLOW’s supporters are eager to see the group thrive and are hopeful for Aisha’s full recovery.

On May 20 at midnight KST, EVERGLOW surprised their dedicated fanbase by confirming their summer comeback plans.

The initial buzz began with the release of the “Coming Soon” poster through EVERGLOW’s official social media channels. The intriguing image featured an ECG machine monitor displaying the members’ English names and the phrase “COMING SOON.” The poster not only heightened excitement but also revealed the specific comeback date and time: June 10 at 6 p.m. KST.

EVERGLOW’s forthcoming release marks their return to the music scene since their fourth single album, “ALL MY GIRLS,” which dropped in August of last year. “ALL MY GIRLS” showcased the group’s signature girl power and cemented their position in the K-pop industry. Despite the 1 year and 8 months gap between releases, EVERGLOW’s title track “SLAY” from the previous album achieved remarkable success, securing first place on various music shows and demonstrating their enduring popularity.

Following the success of “ALL MY GIRLS,” EVERGLOW embarked on their second U.S. tour, the “2023 EVERGLOW US TOUR ALL MY GIRLS.” This tour saw the group performing in 10 cities, including New Haven, New York, Atlanta, Washington D.C., St. Petersburg, Louisville, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Look: Everglow Drops Teasers for “All My Girls”

Mark your calendars because K-pop girl group EVERGLOW is finally making a comeback after almost two years! 

To hype their upcoming release, EVERGLOW shared individual posters that show the silhouettes of each member as they pose behind what seemed to be a white veil. 

On Thursday, July 27, they also released a promotion scheduler for their single album, which will be titled All My Girls. 

From July 31 to August 2, EVERGLOW will be releasing concept photos for the album, while the tracklist will be out on August 3. 

Pre-orders will start on August 4, while the album will be released on August 18. 

The group will also be releasing music video teasers, highlight medley, and visual clips before the official release of the album. The activities will then conclude with a comeback showcase. 

All My Girls will serve as EVERGLOW’s first comeback following the release of their third mini-album Return of the Girl in December 2021. 

During the lull between their album releases, EVERGLOW collaborated with German DJ and producer TheFatRat for the song “Ghost Light” in 2022. They also appeared in several K-pop festivals such as HallyuPopFest London 2022 and HallyuPopFest Sydney 2022. 

Composed of Sihyeon, Onda, E:U, Mia, Aisha, and Yiren, EVERGLOW made their debut in March 2019. The group is known for hit songs Dun Dun,” “Bon Bon Chocolat,” “LA DI DA,” and Adios” among others.
