Former BTOB member Ilhoon has revealed exciting news for fans: he plans for new music release by the end of this year.

Ilhoon Reveals Plans for New Music Release

During a recent live stream, Ilhoon discussed his future plans following his art exhibition “Tiny Ark”, which was held from October 4 to 6 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. When asked by fans if they could expect new music release in 2024, he confirmed, “Yes, I’m talking about this year,” sparking anticipation for his long-awaited musical return.

Ilhoon has been keeping a low profile since his discharge from the military in February 2022 and the resolution of his marijuana controversy, for which he served three years of probation. Despite these challenges, he has gradually been re-engaging with the public, and his recent art exhibition marks a significant step in reconnecting with his fanbase. The exhibition “Tiny Ark” featured Ilhoon’s artwork, which he had been working on during his period of self-reflection. This creative endeavor served as both a personal outlet and a way for Ilhoon to show his fans that he has been doing well.

At the exhibition, Ilhoon not only displayed his artwork but also offered a range of merchandise, including t-shirts, hoodies, ball caps, eco bags, mugs, key rings, and photo books. As a special treat for fans, he also released 10 unique types of collectible photo cards, which attendees could obtain based on their purchases. The event was also thoughtfully curated, with the venue spanning two floors, creating a memorable and interactive experience for those who attended.

With the promise of new music on the horizon, Ilhoon’s return to the spotlight is eagerly awaited by fans who have supported him through his artistic journey. His upcoming release also marks a fresh chapter in his career, blending both his music and art.

It has not yet been revealed when Ilhoon will release new music. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Former BTOB Ilhoon Launches Art Exhibition

Fans are finally getting an exciting update from Jung Ilhoon. The former BTOB member has just opened a new art exhibition in Seoul.

Former BTOB Member Ilhoon Launches ‘Tiny Ark’ Art Exhibition

Former BTOB member Ilhoon has provided an exciting update for his fans, as he opened his first art exhibition titled “Tiny Ark” in Seongsu-dong, Seungdong-gu, Seoul. The exhibition, which runs from October 4 to 6, showcases the artwork he has been developing during his period of self-reflection. This exhibition not only serves as a creative outlet for Ilhoon but also as a means of reconnecting with fans, letting them know that he is doing well.

In addition to displaying his artistic creations, Ilhoon is offering a variety of merchandise at the exhibition. Fans can purchase t-shirts, hoodies, ball caps, eco bags, mugs, key rings, and photo books as mementos of the event. Additionally, he is offering special photo cards—10 unique types that can be collected based on the amount spent at the exhibition. The venue, which spans two floors, has been thoughtfully arranged to provide fans with a memorable experience, further deepening the connection between Ilhoon and his supporters.

Ilhoon’s exhibition comes after a challenging period in his life. He left BTOB in December 2020 after being charged with purchasing and smoking marijuana. Ilhoon was caught for purchasing approximately 130 million KRW (~$96,520 USD) worth of marijuana between July 2016 and January 2019. During his appeal, he submitted 88 letters of self-reflection, seeking leniency from the court.

Since his release, Ilhoon has expressed remorse, issuing a heartfelt apology to fans through social media. He reflected on his actions, stating, “During the past few years of investigation, trial, and imprisonment, I’ve deeply reflected on my life.” Ilhoon vowed to live a more responsible life, promising, “I will live properly from now on and make every effort to ensure that I do not hurt anyone again.”

Congratulations to Ilhoon on the launch of his art exhibition.
