PENTAGON’s Jinho has officially announced his departure from CUBE Entertainment, marking the end of his long-term journey with the agency.
PENTAGON Member Jinho Departs from CUBE Entertainment
On April 15, CUBE Entertainment released a formal statement confirming that Jinho’s exclusive contract had come to an end and that both parties have mutually agreed not to renew. In their message, the agency expressed their sincere gratitude to Jinho for his dedication and hard work over the years and promised to continue supporting his future endeavors.
“Following careful and thorough discussions with our artist, Jinho, his exclusive contract with CUBE Entertainment has come to an end as of April 14, 2025,” the statement read. “Since his debut in 2016 as a member of PENTAGON, Jinho has shown remarkable talent and dedication to music, both as the group’s eldest member and main vocalist and also as a solo artist.”
“We are deeply grateful to Jinho for his dedication and hard work and will cheer for his bright future as he begins a new chapter in his journey,” it continued. “We kindly ask for your continued support and warm encouragement for Jinho moving forward.”
Jinho’s departure comes after five of his fellow PENTAGON members—Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok—left CUBE Entertainment in October 2023. Despite parting ways with the agency, the members shared their intention to continue their group activities as PENTAGON, reassuring fans that their bond remains strong.
Jinho has made a notable mark both as a vocalist and soloist. In September 2024, he released his first solo album ‘[CHO:RD]’ which showcased his artistic range and emotional depth as a singer. The album received praise for its rich vocal quality and musical maturity.
As he moves into a new chapter, fans are celebrating Jinho’s achievements and expressing their full support for whatever he chooses to pursue next. Wishing Jinho the very best on this exciting new journey!
