Lee Kyu Hyung will reportedly be leading the much-awaited comedy drama Kick Kick alongside Ji Jin Hee. Although official confirmations for their roles have yet to be announced, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of this upcoming drama.

Lee Kyu Hyung and Ji Jin Hee are in talks to lead the upcoming situational comedy “Kick Kick”

On August 5, News 1 reported that Lee Kyu Hyung would be appearing in the lead role in KBS’s new situational comedy. Lee Kyu Hyung’s agency, ACE FACTORY, commented that the actor had received the casting offer and is currently reviewing the role positively. Earlier in May, STARNEWS had reported that Ji Jin Hee had been cast for the drama, but the network responded that discussions were still ongoing, and nothing was confirmed. Ji Jin Hee’s agency has yet to respond to the reports.

Kick Kick, also known as Lolololol, is a situational comedy that centers around a group of people, including a forgotten actor and a once-popular entertainment producer who establish a content production company and attempts to run it. The project is being directed by Goo Sung Joon, known for Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Brain Works, and Meow, the Secret Boy. Goo Sung Joon has also produced hit variety shows like Hello Counselor and Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education.

Excitement is high for this series as it marks KBS’s first sitcom since The Sound of Your Heart, which finished airing in 2017.

Lee Kyu Hyung is both a musical performer and an actor. He first appeared on screen in 2009 with the film Castaway on the Moon. The actor rose to fame with his roles in hits like Prison Playbook and Stranger. He has also starred in dramas like Doctor John and Happiness. Most recently, the actor took on the main role in the drama Uncle Samsik.

With the potential pairing of Lee Kyu Hyung and Ji Jin Hee, Kick Kick promises to deliver a fresh and entertaining storyline that fans won’t want to miss.
