BABYMONSTER Announces Preview Tracks Release Ahead of Full Album

BABYMONSTER has officially revealed the schedule for their preview tracks leading up to the release of their highly anticipated first full album ‘DRIP’.

BABYMONSTER Reveals Preview Tracks Release Schedule

Fans can look forward to two preview tracks this week: “CLIK CLAK,” which drops on October 11 KST, followed by “Love, Maybe” on October 12.

The full album ‘DRIP’ is set to release on November 1, 2024, and has already generated a lot of buzz, particularly with the involvement of BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, who participated in composing the title track “DRIP.” The album will feature a total of nine tracks, including “FOREVER” and a remix of their pre-debut song “BATTER UP,” adding a mix of fresh new sounds alongside familiar favorites.

In a significant moment for the rookie girl group, BABYMONSTER had the honor of performing as the opening act for 2NE1’s “WELCOME BACK” concert in Seoul on October 6. This concert marked 2NE1’s long-awaited comeback after a decade, and it was a meaningful occasion for both YG Entertainment’s first-ever girl group and its newest addition, BABYMONSTER. The performance created a bridge between generations, symbolizing the continuation of YG’s powerful legacy of girl groups.

During the concert, BABYMONSTER members Ahyeon and Rami paid tribute to 2NE1 with special acapella performances of some of the group’s iconic hits. Ahyeon gave a stirring rendition of “Ugly,” while Rami delivered an emotional performance of “Lonely.” These heartfelt covers showcased not only their vocal talents but also their deep admiration for 2NE1, whom they consider role models, as they proudly identified themselves as fellow Blackjacks (2NE1 fans).

With ‘DRIP’ on the horizon and BABYMONSTER’s growing presence in the K-pop world, the group is poised for a breakthrough moment when their album drops on November 1, 2024.
