BTS Confirms New Megan Thee Stallion Collaboration

American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has been teasing a new collaboration with BTS. Now, the supergroup has confirmed the new project along with a teaser on who will be involved!

BTS Teases New Collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion

On August 29, Megan teased her followers with a tweet about the behind-the-scenes details of the music video for “Mamushi,” hinting that more exciting news was on the way.

What followed was a cryptic post on X (formerly known as Twitter), where Megan simply shared a sequence of emojis: a horse, a purple heart, and side eyes, with an “X” placed between them. This enigmatic message immediately sent fans into a frenzy, speculating about what it could mean. Given the purple heart, which is a symbol often associated with BTS, fans quickly began to theorize that the post might be a hint at an upcoming collaboration with the globally renowned K-pop group.

The connection seemed plausible, especially since Megan had previously collaborated with BTS for a remix of their hit song “Butter.” During that time, the agreement reportedly included plans for two collaborations—one for BTS and one for Megan herself.

The speculation reached a fever pitch when BTS’s official X account quote-tweeted Megan’s post, adding a koala emoji to the mix. This further fueled the rumors, as ARMYs (BTS’s fanbase) connected the dots and assumed that the collaboration might be specifically with BTS member RM. The koala emoji holds particular significance, as KOYA the koala is RM’s BT21 character, making it a subtle yet strong hint.

The excitement around this potential collaboration between Megan and BTS is palpable, and fans are eagerly awaiting more details about what promises to be another epic musical partnership.

For now, neither Megan Thee Stallion nor BTS have revealed more details about the collaboration. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
