BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has decided to postpone the release of upcoming content, including birthday-related posts, in light of the national mourning period following the tragic Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 crash.

Jisoo’s Agency Shares Statement About Birthday-Related Posts

On December 31, her agency, BLISSOO, shared the news via social media. “In respect to the national tragedy, all planned activities, including birthday content for Jisoo’s January 3 celebration, will be postponed,” the statement read.

“We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to all the victims and their families affected by the tragic passenger plane crash over the weekend. We pray for the repose of the deceased,” it added.

The decision aligns with the somber mood across South Korea as the nation mourns the devastating loss of 179 lives in the plane crash on December 29. This includes any promotions or celebrations
