The girl group is set to release their seventh mini album ‘HEADWAY’ on October 22 at 6 p.m. KST, also marking their latest musical offering of 2024. Fans are eager to see what kind of fresh concept and sound the group will bring with this new release, especially as PURPLE KISS is known for their diverse and captivating styles.

It has been a truly busy year for PURPLE KISS. Earlier starting June, the idol group has been making waves with their announcement of the 2024 tour “BXX”, which took the group across North America and Japan. Kicking off in Oceanside, California on June 2, they also visited cities across the United States, including Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and San Jose.

Their North American tour then took them to Canada, where they performed in major cities like Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal, also wrapping up with a show in Halifax on July 2.

PURPLE KISS also continued to meet fans internationally with performances in Japan, where they held concerts in Osaka and Kanagawa in mid-July.

With the announcement of their new mini album ‘HEADWAY’ and their previous tour success, fans are also buzzing with speculation that another world tour could be on the horizon. Needless to say, the idol group is expected to be just as busy in 2025 with the album promotions and the expected world tour.

Prior to their official debut on March 15, 2021, with the EP “Into Violet,” PURPLE KISS released two pre-debut digital singles, “My Heart Skip a Beat” and “Can We Talk Again,” showcasing their versatility and potential as a group. Since then, they have continued to captivate audiences with their unique blend of music and showmanship.

Look: Purple Kiss to Release ‘Festa’ in September

Ready for a new era with PURPLE KISS? 

RBW Entertainment announced on Wednesday, August 16, that the six-act will be releasing their single album Festa on September 5. 

The short teaser featured the group’s logo set against a pastel blue door. Additionally, the promotional schedule are also in pastel pink backdrop. 

 

Interestingly, the agency has earlier teased that PURPLE KISS will be switching up their concept for this upcoming release. 

“You’ll be able to see new charms that PURPLE KISS has not yet shown before, so please give their comeback lots of interest and anticipation,” RBW Entertainment said in a press release.

Since the group’s debut in 2021, PURPLE KISS has explored series of concepts ranging from geeky to high-teen and horror. 

It’s Festa time! 

According to the promotional schedule, the group will be releasing concept photos and videos, track list, and highlight medleys. 

Also, the lyric posters and music video teasers will be out before the album release. 

Festa will serve as PURPLE KISS’ first comeback in more than six months. The group released Cabin Fever in February. 

Currently, PURPLE KISS is composed of Na Go-eun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, Chaein, and Swan. Member Park Ji Eun left the group in November 2022. 

Moreover, rapper Yuki has also recently became a member of EL7Z UP. Said project group was formed through the idol survival series Queendom Puzzle. 

Despite being part of the final lineup, EL7Z UP members are also allowed to continue promotions under their original group.
