On March 15 KST, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced that j-hope will be releasing a new digital single titled “MONA LISA” next week.

According to the agency, “MONA LISA” is a hip-hop and R&B track that draws inspiration from the timeless allure of the world-famous painting. The lyrics creatively compare a captivating individual to Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, emphasizing that true beauty is not just about external appearance but the distinctive charm and personality that make someone special.

BIGHIT MUSIC also shared that this new single is a heartfelt gift from j-hope to his fans (ARMY) as a token of appreciation for their unwavering love and support. They further expressed hope that fans would show enthusiastic interest in j-hope’s journey ahead.

The excitement surrounding the release intensified when concept photos for “MONA LISA” were revealed the following day, giving fans a glimpse into the song’s artistic and stylish aesthetic.

“MONA LISA” will officially drop on March 21 at 1 p.m. KST.

In related news, j-hope’s previous single “Sweet Dreams” has been dominating the iTunes charts across the globe. According to BIGHIT MUSIC, the song had already reached No. 1 in at least 79 regions, including major music markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Canada, Australia, and Brazil.

In addition to his upcoming digital single, j-hope is already hyping fans up with his first solo world tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’, a 31-date journey that kicked off with a three-night concert at Seoul’s KSPO DOME from February 28 to March 1. The BTS member is currently in North America and will be heading back to Asia in April.

Released on March 7 at 2 p.m. KST, “Sweet Dreams”—a collaboration with R&B singer Miguel—quickly soared to the top of iTunes Top Songs charts in numerous countries. By 9 a.m. KST on March 8, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed that the song had already reached No. 1 in at least 79 regions, including major music markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Canada, Australia, and Brazil.

“Sweet Dreams” marks J-Hope’s first official release since his special album ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1’ dropped in March last year. The single perfectly blends his signature style with Miguel’s soulful vocals, creating a smooth and dreamy sound that has captivated fans worldwide.

Alongside his new music, J-Hope has also embarked on his highly anticipated ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ tour, a 31-date journey that kicked off with a three-night concert at Seoul’s KSPO DOME from February 28 to March 1. The tour will take the BTS member to Brooklyn on March 13 and 14, Chicago on March 17 and 18, Mexico City on March 22 and 23, San Antonio on March 26 and 27, Oakland on March 31 and April 1, and Los Angeles on April 4 and 6.

He will also perform in Manila on April 12 and 13, Saitama on April 19 and 20, Singapore on April 26 and 27, Jakarta on May 3 and 4, Bangkok on May 10 and 11, Macau on May 17 and 18, Taipei on May 24 and 25, and Osaka on May 31 and June 1. Needless to say, j-hope is set for a truly busy year. Fans are also eagerly looking forward to seeing him perform “Sweet Dreams” live as he travels across different cities.
