The concept of the shoot revolved around imagining the two idols as members of the same school band, bringing an authentic vibe to the pictorial by shooting at a real performance venue.

During the interview that followed the shoot, the duo was asked to reflect on how their relationship might have developed if they had first met in a school band setting. Taehyun thoughtfully responded, “Since Huening Kai is good at playing musical instruments, I think I would have approached him by asking related questions.”

This comment highlights Taehyun’s admiration for Huening Kai’s musical talents, hinting at the possibility of a strong camaraderie formed through shared musical interests. Huening Kai, in turn, imagined that even in a school club setting, Taehyun would have exuded the same passion he does now. “Even if we had met in a school club, I think Taehyun would still have been full of passion,” he remarked, emphasizing the consistency of Taehyun’s fervor for music.

Friends On and Off Stage

The interview also delved into their onstage dynamics, revealing the deep trust and reliance they have on each other during performances. Taehyun shared, “On stage, there’s no one I rely on more than Huening Kai. I can see up close that he remains unaffected in any situation.” This statement speaks volumes about Huening Kai’s composure and dependability, qualities that Taehyun clearly values.

Huening Kai reciprocated the sentiment by expressing his admiration for Taehyun’s consistency, noting, “Taehyun is also the member who remains the most consistent. I didn’t notice this at the beginning of our debut, but I’ve come to realize that Taehyun performs well during every performance every time we make a comeback. It’s amazing how consistently he performs well.”

The duo also shared their thoughts on the qualities they hope will remain unchanged in each other as they continue their careers. Taehyun appreciated Huening Kai’s “let’s just do it” attitude, a mindset that likely helps the group navigate challenges with a positive outlook. On the other hand, Huening Kai valued Taehyun’s sound judgment and unwavering self-belief, traits that undoubtedly contribute to Taehyun’s consistent performances.

Taehyun Calls Out Sasaengs for Changing TXT’s In-Flight Meals

TXT’s Taehyun recently addressed sasaengs through a now-deleted Weverse post, which he made on June 29, 2024. According to the idol, someone had changed the group’s in-flight meals without their consent.

Taehyun Claims Someone Changed TXT’s In-Flight Meals Without Consent

In the Weverse post, Taehyun detailed an unsettling incident where his food order on a plane was altered by someone else, strongly suggesting the involvement of sasaengs, obsessive fans who invade the privacy of idols.

“I was about to go back to Korea after the fansign where I enjoyed my time with MOA,” he wrote. “But someone changed the members’ in-flight meal by booking it in advance through seating. It’s not a big deal as we can just not eat it, but I can’t fathom why they did that, and just what kind of system allows one to change someone else’s [meal] like that. We ate before boarding, so don’t worry.”

The post, though quickly deleted, was captured by fast-fingered fans. Taehyun did not provide further details, leaving the true nature of the incident ambiguous. This lack of clarity has led to fan speculation that sasaengs might be behind the food order change, though system errors cannot be completely ruled out. The swift deletion of the post raises questions among fans about whether Taehyun retracted his statement to avoid provoking sasaengs further or due to uncertainty about the incident’s cause.

This event has intensified concerns about the safety and privacy of K-pop idols, who often face extreme invasions of privacy from sasaengs. The fact that such an incident could occur on a plane highlights the persistent and pervasive nature of this issue.

Currently, TXT is gearing up for their TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <ACT : PROMISE> IN ASIA, with confirmed stops in Macau, Singapore, Jakarta, and Taipei. The group’s busy schedule and the need for secure travel arrangements make the concerns raised by Taehyun’s post even more pressing. Fans hope for more protective measures to ensure the safety and well-being of their favorite idols during such high-stakes tours.
