In case you missed it, LOCO is now a married man. The rapper dropped the surprise news last year confirming he is tying the knot with a civilian woman. Since then, Kwon Hyuk-woo has been enjoying married life away from the spotlight. But now, the “Can’t Sleep” rapper is opening up about his marriage and discussing how he met his lovely wife.

Back in September 2022, LOCO took to Instagram to announce that he is getting married. The news came as a surprise to his fans who were not aware that he was dating a non-celebrity. It was further confirmed that the woman is someone who lives in the same neighborhood as the rapper. They tied the knot before the end of the year.

LOCO Opens Up About Finding Romance In His Neighborhood

Since his marriage, LOCO has been staying private about his relationship with his wife. However, he decided to break the silence and gush about the woman who would change his life. In the August 19 episode of Today’s Joo Woo Jae, the rapper revealed that he met his soon-to-be wife “in a private educational institute.”

“She was very tall and cool,” he said. “At the time when I was going to college, I went around without cutting my hair or beard. It was so cool, and she admired it.”

“Everyone teased me about my hair, but she said it was pretty,” LOCO continued. “That’s how we got closer. I couldn’t overcome that wall, but we communicated really well and got along as close friends.”

The romance didn’t bloom right away as the “Late Night” rapper had to go away for military service. Still, he didn’t take chances the next time he met her.

“We just spent time on our own and got in touch with each other now and then. We got in touch with each other after a long time during my military vacation, and I met her in the old neighborhood,” LOCO said. “We said a few words to each other, and I suddenly thought, ‘I should live with her.'”
