TXT Leader Soobin Breaks Silence Following Hiatus Announcement

On November 19, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that Soobin would take a break from all activities to prioritize his health and recovery. The decision came after careful consideration to ensure the idol’s well-being.

Soobin recently exhibited signs of being unwell and visited the hospital for medical attention. The medical staff have advised that he would need sufficient time to rest and recover,” the statement read.

“We have prioritized Soobin’s recovery and have had discussions regarding future activities with all members,” it added. “Soobin himself is determined to continue with his activities, however, we felt that it would be better for him to focus on improving his health for the time being as recommended by the medical staff.”

Later that day, Soobin reached out to MOAs (TXT’s fandom) through a touching letter shared on Weverse. In his message, he reassured fans not to worry, explaining that his hiatus was necessary for him to come back healthier and stronger. He expressed gratitude for their unwavering support, emphasizing how much their love motivates him during challenging times.

After giving it deep thought, I thought that in order to be with all of you for a long time, I needed time to reorganize myself,” Soobin wrote. “My heart feels heavy because I worry that this decision will harm everyone around me, but I spoke a lot with Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Kai. I’m very sorry and grateful to the members, who supported my decision.”

MOA’s happiness is always my top priority,” he added.

Soobin also shared his regret at temporarily stepping away but promised to return soon with a brighter and healthier energy. Fans have responded with an outpouring of encouragement, wishing him a speedy recovery. Get well soon, Soobin!
