VANNER Member Hyesung Announces Military Enlistment Date

Hyesung is preparing to fulfill his mandatory military service. The young idol has been confirmed as the second VANNER member to enlist.

Second VANNER Member Announces Military Enlistment

On October 17, KLAP Entertainment officially announced that Hyesung will begin his enlistment on November 4, starting with basic training at a military training center. They also confirmed that there will be no official events during the enlistment date to ensure the idol’s safety as well as his supporters.

The agency stated, “No official events will be held on the day of his enlistment to avoid safety concerns due to potential crowding. We kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the site.”

In addition to that, they confirmed that, “Hyesung plans to fulfill all of VANNER’s scheduled activities until his enlistment. We ask for your continued support and unwavering love until Hyesung returns healthy after completing his military service.

“Our company will also provide ongoing support and affection for Hyesung and the other VANNER members,” they added. Netizens were certainly happy with the statement from the agency.

Despite his impending enlistment, Hyesung plans to participate in all of VANNER’s scheduled activities leading up to his departure. KLAP Entertainment also expressed their appreciation for fans’ support, asking for their continued love and encouragement during Hyesung’s time in service. They reassured fans that both Hyesung and the other VANNER members will receive the company’s full support during this period.

Hyesung is the second VANNER member to enlist, following Sungkook, who is currently serving. VANNER, which debuted in February 2019, gained widespread recognition after winning the survival show “Peak Time” in 2023. The group has remained active, most recently releasing their third mini-album ‘BURN’ on September 30. The group is currently promoting as a four-member unit.

Fans are sending well wishes to Hyesung, hoping for a safe and healthy return once his service is complete.
