IU and G-Dragon Delight Fans with ‘Palette’ 2025 Ver

On the latest episode of IU’s popular music talk show, G-Dragon made a rare guest appearance, marking his return to the spotlight following his recent announcements about new music. The episode was particularly special, as it was their first official on-screen interaction in years.

Right from the start, IU expressed surprise when she learned that G-Dragon had mentioned feeling awkward around her in a pre-interview. However, he quickly reassured her, saying, “I don’t [feel awkward around you]! Haven’t we gotten a lot closer than before?”

The two then fondly reminisced about their first meeting in seven years at IU’s 2023 concert, where they surprisingly felt at ease despite the time apart. Reflecting on their long-lasting connection, IU mused, “Maybe it’s the kind of comfort that comes from growing older together?” G-Dragon agreed, adding, “I guess it’s that unspoken inner bond.”

Naturally, the conversation turned to their iconic 2017 collaboration “Palette”. IU revealed that she had asked G-Dragon if they could perform the song together, knowing that fans had been eagerly hoping for it. She then surprised viewers by revealing, “And I heard you even rewrote the lyrics to make a 2025 version!”

G-Dragon explained his thought process behind updating the lyrics, recalling IU’s original vision for the song. “At the time, when you were making the song, you said you wanted to leave certain songs for certain ages. Back then, we were thirty and twenty-five. We sang it at a very pretty age. But now…” he trailed off with a laugh before adding, “So I thought a lot about what to say [in the new lyrics.]”

“Palette” 2025 ver starts at the 31:11 mark in the video above.

With this special reunion, fans are more excited than ever to see what the two artists have in store for the future.

Sulli’s Family Requests Clarification on ‘Real’ Explicit Scenes

The family of the late Sulli has publicly requested a statement and clarification regarding her explicit scenes in the 2017 film “Real” from co-star and lead actor Kim Soo Hyun, as well as director Lee Sa Rang (real name: Lee Ro Be), who co-founded Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, GOLDMEDALIST.

Sulli’s Family Demands Clarification on ‘Real’ Explicity Scenes Involving Kim Soo Hyun

On March 28, Sulli’s older brother issued an official statement, demanding an explanation on three key points related to the filming process of “Real”. The family has raised concerns about Sulli’s involvement in the movie and the circumstances surrounding the filming of the explicit scenes, seeking transparency and accountability from those in charge.

“Over the past six years, we have endured immense grief and sorrow, but we have also been deeply grateful for the support and kindness extended to us by many people,” the statement read. “It is for this reason that we could not turn a blind eye to the tragic passing of Kim Sae Ron as if it were unrelated to us.”

“We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Kim Sae Ron’s bereaved family,” it continued. “Back in 2019, during Sulli’s funeral, we heard concerning information regarding the filming of the 2017 film ‘Real’, particularly about the bedroom scene.”

“Because this matter was not widely known at the time, we also could not verify the exact facts, but we learned that a body double did exist and was present on set, despite claims that the body double was ill and couldn’t attend,” the statement added.

In response, GOLDMEDALIST briefly addressed the matter, stating, “We are currently in the process of verifying the facts.” The statement also suggests that the agency is reviewing the situation before providing any further comments.

As the issue gains attention, many continue to await further clarification from those involved.
