“My Name is Gabriel” has released several new photos of Jennie’s upcoming episodes. The show, produced by PD Kim Tae Ho, known for the hit program “Infinite Challenge”, follows the cast members as they immerse themselves in the lives of others abroad for 72 hours.
In her episodes, Jennie takes on the persona of Maria, the real-life owner of a farmhouse bed and breakfast in a picturesque village near Rome, Italy. When asked why she chose to participate in the show, Jennie explained, “I thought it would be a special experience.”
For 72 hours, Jennie embraces her new identity by engaging in various tasks at the guesthouse. From picking up guests to preparing meals and hosting lively banquets, Jennie dives into the rural lifestyle. She even conducts cooking classes for her guests, showcasing her versatility. One of the memorable moments includes her dramatic arrival, where she jokingly says, “Has anyone ever been kidnapped while working?” Jennie is then whisked away to a horse ranch before starting her duties at the guesthouse.
Enjoying Life in Italy
The location itself adds to the charm, as the farmhouse sits on a sprawling estate with a 15,000-square-meter vineyard and 500 olive trees. Jennie is also seen harvesting ingredients from the farm to cook homemade meals, working alongside her mother to serve guests.
Jennie’s new persona as Maria is also different from her image as an idol. Still, the BLACKPINK member will not be quitting her day job anytime soon. Jennie is also set for another solo comeback after signing with Columbia Records earlier this month.
