After its global release, BLACKPINK’s Lisa made waves with her new single “Moonlit Floor,” quickly climbing iTunes charts across various countries.
‘Moonlit Floor’ Quickly Dominates iTunes Charts
The track debuted at No. 1 on the worldwide iTunes album chart and ranked No. 5 on the European album chart, showcasing its international appeal. As of now, “Moonlit Floor” has topped iTunes song charts in 30 regions, including countries such as Cambodia, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Peru, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and more.
Fans were first treated to a live performance of “Moonlit Floor” at the 2024 Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park on September 28, where Lisa headlined the event. The performance included an exciting interpolation of Sixpence None the Richer’s 1990s hit “Kiss Me,” which added a nostalgic element to her fresh new sound. This highly anticipated track also generated buzz from the moment it was revealed during her performance, and Lisa maintained the momentum by quickly dropping a teaser for the song on October 3 at 8 p.m. KST.
But the release of “Moonlit Floor” is only part of the exciting developments surrounding Lisa. On September 24, her agency, LLOUD, also announced her 2024 solo Fan Meetup tour across Asia. This fan event tour will give fans the rare opportunity to meet Lisa in person and celebrate her solo career. The tour will kick off in Singapore on November 11, followed by stops in Bangkok on November 13, Jakarta on November 15, Kaohsiung on November 17, and Hong Kong on November 19.
