The wait is nearly over: Rosé is finally making her highly anticipated solo comeback! The BLACKPINK member just confirmed she is releasing her first studio album by dropping the ‘rosie’ teasers.

Rosé Drops First ‘rosie’ Teasers

On October 2 at midnight KST, Rosé thrilled fans by officially announcing her first full-length studio album, titled ‘rosie’, which will be released in December. This marks her first solo comeback since her debut with the single album ‘R’ in 2021, which featured hits like “On The Ground” and “Gone.”

Along with the announcement, Rosé unveiled stunning teaser images, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come with the album’s release on December 6.

I cannot believe I am finally announcing my first album release to you all,” she wrote. “I remember last year as our year long tour ended, I found myself in a session out here in Los Angeles. That led on to a year of walking in and out of the studio, writing songs with songwriters and producers I’d met for the first time, trying to figure out the next chapter in my career.”

“I fell asleep many nights feeling confused and lost. But with the support of my dear friends and family, my team, and of course my number ones, I am sat here today excited to announce the date of my album release,” she added.

What to Expect in ‘rosie’

According to a press release, Rosé was deeply involved in the creation of ‘rosie’, both as a coproducer and cowriter. The album, which contains 12 tracks, is described as her “most personal and candid” work to date, promising a more intimate look at the artist’s journey and thoughts.

The excitement around Rosé’s return is amplified by her recent partnership with Atlantic Records. THEBLACKLABEL confirmed that Rosé had also signed an exclusive contract with the American label to expand her solo ventures in the global market. Atlantic Records, in turn, warmly welcomed her with celebratory photos, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in her career.

‘rosie’ will officially drop on December 6, 2024.
