BOYNEXTDOOR has made the difficult decision to cancel their upcoming concert in Bangkok, which was originally scheduled to take place on March 29. The decision comes after the disastrous Myanmar earthquake that has also affected Thailand.

Myanmar Earthquake Forces BOYNEXTDOOR to Cancel Bangkok Concert

On March 28, the group’s agency, KOZ Entertainment, released an official statement announcing the cancellation of the concert, which was set to be part of BOYNEXTDOOR’s first-ever tour ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1’. The agency explained that the decision was made due to safety concerns following the recent earthquake in Myanmar, which has also affected parts of Thailand.

KOZ Entertainment emphasized that the well-being of the artists, staff, and fans is their top priority. They expressed deep regret over the cancellation and apologized to fans who had been eagerly anticipating the show. The agency also assured fans that they would be working on alternative plans and would provide updates as soon as possible regarding ticket refunds and future scheduling.

We sincerely apologize to the many fans who were looking forward to the Bangkok show, and we ask for your generous understanding. We will provide information about the cancellation process in a separate announcement,” the statement read.

“Once again, we express our deepest condolences to everyone affected by this earthquake, and we sincerely hope for your safety and recovery,” it added. “The artists and staff are currently safe and are taking steps to return home safely. We will do our best to ensure the artists’ safety.”

The powerful earthquake in Myanmar has also caused tremors to be felt in neighboring regions, including Thailand, raising concerns about public safety.

Our thoughts are also with everyone affected by the earthquake, and we hope for a swift recovery for those impacted. Fans around the world also continue to send their support to BOYNEXTDOOR and those affected by this unfortunate event.
