Leading entertainment company CJ ENM today announces a groundbreaking partnership to broadcast the main stage concert from KCON LA 2024 live on The CW Network. This event, set for Sunday, July 28 at 8 pm ET, marks the first time a K-pop performance show will be broadcast live on national television in the United States. Consequently, this will showcase the genre’s explosive global growth and the unwavering dedication of its fans.
KCON will take place from July 26-28 at the LA Convention Center, Gilbert Lindsay Plaza, and Crypto.com Arena. Presented by Samsung Galaxy as the title sponsor, this year’s KCON LA promises to be bigger than ever. The event will be filled with more daytime stages and content to bring a livelier festival atmosphere to K-pop fans.

KCON is a three-day festival featuring a variety of fan activities and live performances throughout the day. It culminates in three huge nights of concerts presented under the M COUNTDOWN name. It is a popular weekly live performance program on CJ ENM’s music channel, Mnet. The live broadcast of KCON LA 2024 on The CW will showcase multiple acts.

Additionally, KCON LA has evolved from a single-day event in Irvine in 2012 to become a global platform celebrating KPop culture. Previously, the event series has already visited Hong Kong and Japan. Soon, it will take place in Germany on September 28th and 29th.
In this partnership, The CW and CJ ENM will highlight the power of fandom and the role of KCON in building connections between K-pop artists and their international fanbase. Over the past decade, KCON has facilitated the global rise of K-pop to the forefront of the music scene.
