CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa is set to undergo knee surgery today, as announced by the band’s agency in an official statement on Weverse on January 20. This news has prompted an outpouring of support from fans, who are wishing the multi-talented leader a swift and smooth recovery.
“Recently, Jung Yong Hwa experienced discomfort in his knee and visited the hospital for a detailed examination,” the statement read. “He was diagnosed with a right knee meniscus tear. Following the medical team’s recommendation, he is scheduled to undergo meniscus tear repair surgery today.”
“After thorough discussions with the artist, we have decided to proceed with his upcoming scheduled activities within reasonable limits, following the medical team’s guidance and recommendations,” it continued.

The band thrilled fans in late 2024 with their much-anticipated comeback, releasing their 10th mini album ‘X’, on October 14 at 6 p.m. KST.
