On July 26, Apple TV+ announced the launch of a new documentary series titled “K-Pop Idols,” set to premiere on August 30.

“K-Pop Idols” aims to offer an exclusive glimpse into the relentless dedication and behind-the-scenes efforts of artists striving for perfection in the fiercely competitive world of K-Pop. The series will feature prominent K-Pop acts Jessi, CRAVITY, and BLACKSWAN, providing fans with an intimate look at their journeys, challenges, and triumphs.

The series is produced by Matador Content’s Emmy Award-winning executive producers Jay Peterson and Todd Lubin, known for their work on Apple TV+’s acclaimed documentary “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry.” They are joined by Jack Turner of “War Game,” Bradley Cramp of “Lord of War,” and others, ensuring a high-quality production that delves deep into the K-Pop industry.
