On November 29, PLEDIS Entertainment announced that fromis_9 would be parting ways with the agency. As part of this bittersweet farewell, the group prepared their final comeback under PLEDIS, releasing “from” in December.
fromis_9 debuted in 2018 after forming through the survival program “Idol School.” The group also originally consisted of nine members: Roh Ji-sun, Song Ha-young, Lee Sae-rom, Lee Chae-young, Park Ji-won, Lee Seo-yeon, Baek Ji-heon, Jang Gyu-ri, and Park So-yeon. In 2021, they also joined PLEDIS Entertainment, embarking on a new chapter in their careers. However, their journey changed when Jang Gyu-ri departed on July 31, 2022, to pursue solo activities, transitioning the group to eight members.
