GHOST9 Finally Confirms October Comeback

On September 22, MAROO Entertainment issued a statement confirming that the idol group will release new music very soon. “GHOST9 is preparing a new mini album with the goal of a comeback at the end of October,” the statement read.

It’s certainly a comeback that took a long time. After all, the group’s latest release was their sixth EP ‘Arcade: V’ which was released in April 2022. Nevertheless, MAROO Entertainment assures that their new music will be well worth the wait.

“This preparation period of a year and six months was a valuable time to create a more complete and high-quality album. Please show a lot of support and interest for GHOST9,” the company’s statement read.

Ghost9 was formed under MAROO Entertainment in 2020. They marked their debut on September 23, 2020, with their first EP titled ‘Pre Episode 1: Door.’ Presently, the group comprises seven members: Shin, Son Jung-hyun, Choi Jun-seong, Lee Kang-sung, Prince, Lee Woo-jin, and Lee Jin-woo. On September 5, 2021, Hwang Dong-jun and Lee Taeseung decided to depart from the group.

Recently, GHOST9 successfully wrapped up their first Japanese fan meeting ‘Beyond The Illusion’. The events were held in Tokyo and Osaka, showcasing their burgeoning global fanbase.

Expectations are high regarding GHOST9’s forthcoming album, and fans are eager to witness the group’s growth and development after actively engaging with domestic and international audiences during their hiatus. With that in mind, GHOSTIEs are eager to see the group in action all over again in late October.

For now, MAROO Entertainment has not yet announced GHOST9’s October comeback date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
