The upcoming drama “Friendly Rivalry” has unveiled an intriguing new sneak preview! The new images offer a glimpse at GOT7 member Choi Young Jae as a mysterious character and Kim Tae Hoon as an important figure.

‘Friendly Rivalry’ Sneak Peek Teases First Glimpse at Youngjae and Kim Tae Hoon’s Characters

The drama shared new photos featuring characters who will play interesting roles in the show.

GOT7’s Youngjae stars as Nam Byung Jin, a mysterious figure from the same orphanage as Woo Seul Gi. Despite her transfer to Chaehwa, he also remains closely connected to her, adding an air of suspense to the story. His presence also intertwines with key students, including Yoo Jae Yi (Hyeri), Joo Ye Ri (Kang Hye Won), and Choi Kyung (Oh Woo Ri), each harboring secrets of their own.

Kim Tae Hoon portrays Yoo Tae Joon, the wealthy and influential father of top-ranked student Yoo Jae Yi. As the director of J Medical Center and head of Chaehwa’s parent association, Yoo Tae Joon also believes that success comes only through relentless competition. He invests heavily in his “perfect” daughter, offering conditional support based on her achievements rather than unconditional love, shaping her into a reflection of his own ambition.

Based on a popular webtoon “Friendly Rivalry” is a mystery thriller set at Chaehwa Girls’ High School, an elite institution catering to South Korea’s top 1 percent. However, beneath its prestigious image lies fierce academic competition, hidden ambitions, and dark secrets among its students. Jung Soo Bin takes on the role of Woo Seul Gi, a transfer student who quickly finds herself entangled in the school’s cutthroat environment and the tangled web of her classmates’ complex rivalries.

“Friendly Rivalry” is set to premiere on February 10, also promising a gripping tale of ambition, secrets, and the high-stakes world of elite academics.
