Song Yunhyeong is the third member of iKON to enlist this year, following the enlistments of fellow members Bobby and Chanwoo in May. Bobby’s enlistment was confirmed for May 21, and Chanwoo’s for May 27.

The enlistment of these three members marks a significant chapter in both their careers and personal lives. Their decision to fulfill their mandatory military service reflects their commitment to their responsibilities as citizens of South Korea. Fans, known as iKONICs, are showing unwavering support for Yunhyeong, Bobby, Chanwoo, and the rest of the group. Social media platforms are flooded with messages of encouragement and well-wishes as fans prepare to bid farewell to the members for the duration of their service. This separation, though temporary, is a poignant moment for both the members and their supporters, as they reflect on the memories and achievements shared with iKON over the years.

In the midst of these enlistments, iKON continues to thrive creatively. Fellow member Junhoe released his solo debut EP, ‘Bruise,’ on July 3, 2024.
