On February 4, Netflix officially announced that “When Life Gives You Tangerines” will premiere on March 7, 2025. The drama will unfold over four weeks, structured around the four seasons—spring, summer, fall, and winter. This unique 16-episode series will be released in weekly installments, with four episodes dropping every Friday from March 7 to March 28.
“When Life Gives You Tangerines” will follow the adventurous life stories of Ae Sun and Gwan Sik as they navigate the vibrant, ever-changing seasons of Jeju Island. IU is set to portray Ae Sun, a bold and rebellious young woman whose fiery spirit drives her to chase dreams despite the obstacles she faces. Park Bo Gum will star opposite her as Gwan Sik, a quiet yet steadfast character known for his unwavering reliability and deep emotional strength.
