Kim Jung Hyun has been confirmed to star in the upcoming KBS2 weekend drama “Iron Family.” His agency, Story J Company, shared the exciting news on July 16, asking fans to support him in his new role. He will star as Seo Kang Joo, a managing director of Jiseung Group.

“Iron Family” will center on a family who has been running a laundry business for three generations. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they come into some unexpected money, allowing them to chase their dreams and bring much-needed changes to their lives.

Casting details

INFINITE’s Sungyeol joins the line-up, playing Choi Hyung Chul, a lieutenant who develops a romantic relationship with a fellow officer. Other casts include Geum Sae Rok, Choi Tae Joon, and Yang Hye Ji. However, their roles have not yet been confirmed by their representatives.

The drama is written by Seo Sook Hyang, known for her work on popular series such as “Pasta,” “Jealousy Incarnate,” and “Wok of Love.” “Iron Family” will follow “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” and will consist of 36 episodes.
