A.C.E’s Lee Donghun to Undergo Surgery for Acute Cholecystitis

On December 11, Beat Interactive, the agency representing A.C.E, shared an update regarding member Lee Donghun’s health. The agency revealed that Donghun has been diagnosed with acute cholecystitis, a condition involving inflammation of the gallbladder. Following medical advice, he will undergo surgery to address the issue and focus on his recovery.

Recently, Lee Donghun has been experiencing digestive issues and sought medical consultation,” the agency’s statement read. “However, as his condition did not improve, he underwent further diagnostic tests, which revealed acute cholecystitis, and he has been advised to undergo surgery. He will proceed with the surgery as soon as possible and will take sufficient rest and recovery time afterward.

As a result, Donghun will temporarily step back from participating in A.C.E’s group activities. “Due to the surgery and recovery period, Lee Donghun will be unable to participate in scheduled events,” the statement continued. “We will update you about any changes to schedules, such as fan signings and other activities involving the remaining members via A.C.E’s official website and social media accounts as soon as possible.”

They added, “We have taken every effort to prioritize the health of our artist while respecting his willingness to participate in schedules. For the schedules prior to the surgery, after thorough communication with the doctor and Lee Donghun, it was confirmed that he is able to handle them, and these events will proceed as planned without changes.
