It’s official: rapper and TV personality Lee Young Ji will be the next “The Seasons” MC!
Lee Young Ji Confirmed as New ‘The Seasons’ MC
Known for her bold personality and quick wit, Lee Young Ji is set to bring her unique flair to the popular KBS 2TV music talk show, marking an exciting new chapter in the show’s rotation of hosts.
“The Seasons” is a distinctive music talk show that rotates MCs each season, giving viewers a fresh experience with each new host. Past MCs include renowned artists such as Jay Park, Jannabi’s Choi Jung Hoon, AKMU, Lee Hyori, and Block B’s Zico. Lee Young Ji, who recently scored a hit with “Small Girl” featuring EXO’s D.O., follows in their footsteps, adding her own dynamic style to the lineup.
At the end of the final episode of “The Seasons: Artist with Zico,” it was officially revealed that Lee Young Ji would be taking over as the next MC. Fans are eagerly awaiting her debut as host, which is set for September 27 at 10 p.m. KST. Her hosting skills, already well known from appearances on various variety shows, are also expected to add humor and authenticity to the program.
The BLOCK B Reunion
Meanwhile, Zico’s final episode as host brought a special treat for fans, as all seven members of Block B reunited on stage for the first time in years. The group performed some of their biggest hits, including “Her,” “Yesterday,” “Nillili Mambo,” and “Very Good,” creating a nostalgic moment for long-time fans.
This episode also marked Park Kyung’s return to broadcasting after a four-year hiatus. In 2020, Park Kyung had stepped back from public life following a controversy over school bullying, but his performance alongside his fellow Block B members was warmly received, also signaling his comeback to the entertainment industry.
With Lee Young Ji stepping in as the new MC, the next season of “The Seasons” also promises to be both entertaining and impactful.
