After a five-year collaboration, K-pop boy group MUSTB has officially parted ways with their label, MustM Entertainment.

On Wednesday, November 8, MustM Entertainment announced that they’re terminating the exclusive contract of MUSTB.

According to the agency, they had “sufficient decisions and dialogues” with all five members: Taegeon, Wooyeon, Doha, Soohyun, and Sihoo. Through these discussions, they’ve agreed to end the contract after a “mutual consultation.”

Moreover, MustM Entertainment also expressed their gratitude to the group who’s been dedicating their best in idol activities. Additionally, the agency promised that they will support the members on their future endeavors.

Furthermore, they also asked fans to continue their support for the MUSTB members in the future.

Initially a seven-member group, MUSTB made their debut in 2019. However, members Hawoon and Sangwoon left the group in the same year.

Since then, the group has released songs “ROYALTY,” “Love Formula,” “All Day,” and Realize.” In August, they released the single album Rush.

What’s next for MUSTB?

Following the announcement, several members took to their personal social media accounts to pen a message to their fans.

“Activities under the name of MUSTB have concluded,” Doha wrote. “We will remember and are grateful for each and every one who supported us during that time.”

“Moving forward, I’ll show you a new image/side of me. So please support me even more,” he said, as translated by NME

Meanwhile, Soohyun in an English-language post expressed his happiness for being cherished by their audience.

“Thank you all for your support and love [until] now. I was so happy to be loved by all of you,” he wrote.

Moreover, he also wished the best for their fans and conveyed his determination to move forward.

Since the termination of the contract came as a shock to their fans, many are confused as to what will happen to the group.

Currently, there’s no confirmation yet whether the group will disband, move to a new label, or will the members embark on solo activities. Despite the uncertainties, MUSTB fans have already declared their continued support for the group.
