Renjun is officially returning after temporary hiatus. The NCT member has finally recovered from his health-related hiatus, bringing relief and excitement to fans.
NCT Member Renjun Returns After Temporary Hiatus
On October 7, SM Entertainment confirmed that Renjun, who had taken a temporary break from activities due to health concerns in April, will now resume his schedule.
“Due to health reasons, Renjun has been participating in activities on a flexible basis. However, he has made significant progress thanks to proper treatment and rest,” the statement read.
“After discussions and considering Renjun’s eagerness to return as well as the medical team’s advice, we announce that he can safely resume activities. He will officially return following this announcement,” it continued.
“We appreciate the fans for their warm support and encouragement during Renjun’s recovery. SM Entertainment is committed to ensuring he can participate in activities in good health,” the company added.
Renjun’s health issues were first addressed earlier this year when SM Entertainment announced that his worsening physical condition required immediate attention. His absence from significant events such as the Japanese music show “Venue101” and a fan signing event in Shanghai on April 14 made it clear that the agency was prioritizing his recovery. The decision to withdraw him from these engagements emphasized SM Entertainment’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of its artists, especially in light of the demanding schedules that idols often face.
With Renjun’s return, there is anticipation that he will rejoin NCT Dream for the remaining shows of their ‘The Dream Show 3: Dream( )scape’ world tour. The tour is set to continue with stops in Europe before heading back to Asia for its final leg, giving fans more chances to see Renjun back on stage alongside his fellow members.
Renjun’s return marks a positive moment for both him and his fans, and they are undoubtedly looking forward to seeing him perform again.
